While I love talking about all things unOrdinary, here we are going to talk about the Ordinary; me.
I am a 25 year old Canadian lady that loves all things history, mystery, and paranormal. For years I’ve been dreaming of starting a blog and creating a community with folks on the internet who share the same passions. After losing my job in the spring of 2020 because of the Coronavirus, I found myself with much more time on my hands.
I spent this time researching and researching, reading up on mysteries and unsolved cases. I would eagerly share the stories and tales with my friends and family, but was still to afraid to make a move to blog about it.
I would talk about blogging, do research, talk about the latest mystery or tale I’d come across with my partner, until he finally told me that doing the research and talking about blogging was all well and good, but that I still wasn’t actually making a move to turn my dreams into a reality. He was total right. Talking about it is one thing, but actually doing it… that’s where it counts.
I finally decided that it was okay to be afraid, as long as I did it anyways.
So welcome to The Prairie Ordinary! Where we talk about The Very Unordinary.
It’s truly the little things that end up being the big things in life, the things that matter. Seriously, you just being here, your presence, it all adds up for me.
Every little bit of support takes me one step closer to living my dreams. I want to raise a family on a hobby farm and work from home, making and selling hand made products that mean the world to me, and hopefully, mean the world to you. I want to share the topics that I find interesting, and hopefully create a community together where we can be creative, talk about all the UnOrdinary things that we find interesting, and educate each other. But most importantly, I just want to have fun -and I hope you do too.
Please come along for the ride by following me on Instagram to see all the handmade treasures I put my heart into that I list for sale here, and be a part of a community that I would love your help in building.
Thanks so much for reading,
